Why the Arizona Drinking Club?

The idea of the club came from the logo - I was throwing a party and needed a logo to put on my e-vite invitation. I love the Arizona state flag and I love a good martini. The shape of the martini glass is one of my favorite shapes. I even collect martini glasses. I was so taken by the logo that I expressed an interest in getting it tattooed to my arm. My mother thought I should do something different than a tattoo - so the Arizona Drinking Club was formed.

I've been trying to come up with rules for the Arizona Drinking Club. The rules should start with -

1. Have Fun! I enjoy a good adult beverage and I hope you do as well. Explore your drinking options - vodka, scotch, whiskey, rum, wine, beer - I find that different moods and locales call for diffent drinks. I wouldn't drink a martini at a bowling alley and I wouldn't drink a beer at the symphony.

2. Share the fun! I'm not against drinking alone but part of the joy of adult beverages is sharing your drinking time with friends. Look for future Arizona Drinking Club events - or create your own.

3. Be responsible! Please obey all local laws when it comes to drinking and driving and sharing the fun.
